RETAINER REQUIREMENT, DISCLAIMER, AND ADVISEMENT AGAINST GUARANTEE OR PREDICTIONS REGARDING OUTCOME

There should always be a written agreement between an attorney and client. It is the policy and practice of this office to execute a written retainer in every case. My retainer is specific as to the amount of legal fees, the expenses approved, the exact nature and extent of the service to be provided and the services that will not be provided without a separate and additional agreement.

An educated and careful prospective legal client should insist on such an agreement with any attorney. Furthermore it is my express policy to never make promises regarding the outcome of any case. Prior successes do not guarantee or warranty future success and all cases are unique.
